exploration of imagination

Exploration of Imagination began by exploring the concept of ‘childlike wonder’, this included looking back at my own childhood and exploring what things piqued my interest and creativity. From this research, I started to develop artwork for this collection which focused on colour and pattern that was expressive and abstract to reflect a curious, inquisitive mind.

My final collection stands as a testament to this exploration, a fusion of digital prints adorned with hand-beading, intricate handmade embellishments and playful fringes. These tactile elements serve not only as adornments but also as a invitation to the observer to immerse themselves in a world where boundaries between reality and imagination blur. With each piece, my aim is to transport the observer back to that state of childlike wonder, where every discovery is met with wide-eyed fascination and every possibility is as boundless as the imagination itself.
